I agree with the proposed rent reform except for a clause concerning commercial rent.

Evicting a tenant in 20 years is unjust.

After having worked for 35 years and now thinking of retiring, my son and I are going to be without a job and out of the premises, without compensation from the government.

The government is going to amend the contract between the landlord and myself.

I agree that rent for commercial premises should be updated every so many years in agreement with the landlord.

It is only justifiable that the government gives compensation to all who are affected, just as what happened in the past with the Drydocks workers, the hearse owners, with the bus owners, and many others included.

We are not going to protest in front of the Prime Minister's office, because we are not the type.

Let us not throw away years of hard work.
