Week three of the Middlesea League saw Ramis go clear at the top after a 6-2 win over third-placed okmalta.com. Ramis are now four points ahead of PharmaVet who went down to Fina, handing the latter their first win of this latest season.

There was a 6-2 win for Turu's Knights against Salitos, and Royal Shock also took six points against Calamatta Cuschieri Co. Ltd. The match between HSBC and Globalair ended in a four-all draw.

Ramis opened their account against okmalta.com with a 716-826 win, but things were soon all square as game two's 818-778 score swung in the opposite direction.

Ramis still held a modest series advantage heading into the decider, which they won 770-815 to make sure of the lion's share of the points.

After two weeks PharmaVet were tied for first place, but their 6-2 upset to Fina meant they surrendered sole leadership to Ramis.

This was Fina's first win, although the match could easily have gone in PharmaVet's favour, Fina just scraping through to win the opening game 710-715.

Game two was a different matter, Fina taking it easily 720-826. But then, PharmaVet pulled back to salvage two points with a 776 winner, against a poor 707 to end a very shaky Fina performance.
