All radio stations and other third party users of the Għargħur transmitting site will go off air between 9am and 1pm on Tuesday due to a maintenance survey of the master antenna to be conducted by British engineers.

The Broadcasting Authority said the survey was necessary to ensure the smooth operation of this vital broadcasting hub.

All equipment will be switched on as soon as the survey is finished, even if this is before 1pm.
