The Labour mayor of Rabat, Sandro Craus, has been confirmed in the post with 2,436 votes.

The PN's Nazju Cassar and Antoine Borg were also elected on the first count with 1,056 and 935 votes, respectively. PL's Doris Coleiro was elected on the second count and PN's Robert Micallef on the third. Paul Grech, PL, was elected on the fifth count.

The quota was 748.

Mr Craus took over the helm at Rabat council half-way through the last term following the resignation of Francis Fabri.
