The Qala International Folk ­Festival, by Qala council and the Menħir Qala Folk Group, will continue today at 10.30 a.m.

A re-enactment of a Maltese wedding will start from Bishop M. Buttigieg Square and move to St Joseph Square where the wedding vows will be made.

It will be concluded with a ­festin of traditional delicacies.

A handcrafts exhibition, accompanied by live folk music by the Ta’ Seguna Group, will follow.

Performances by the Menħir Qala Folk Group, Podmoskovnie Vechera – Russia and the Ta’ Ċangura Folk Group will be held at St Joseph Square at 7 p.m.
