Marsaxlokk midfielder Peter Pullicino was the only Premier League player to be punished by the Malta FA Disciplinary Commissioner yesterday.

Pullicino has been suspended for one match after being ordered off the substitutes’ bench by the match referee for dissent during Marsaxlokk’s 1-0 victory over Floriana.

The former Malta midfielder, who was named among the substitutes but played no part in Sunday’s match, will now have to skip Marsaxlokk’s Premier League match against Hibernians on October 17.

Apart from Pullicino’s sending-off, last weekend’s BOV Premier League games produced no red cards.
