The final inquiry report on allegations of political interference in the case of drug trafficking in Gozo was given to the Prime Minister today after he asked for clarifications about the report he received yesterday.

In a statement, the government said the report will be published as soon as it is analysed.

The inquiry was into allegations made by Malta Today that a statement given to the Gozo police during a drug-related investigation in summer 2013 was changed following a meeting involving “two senior politicians” and family members of the suspects.
