Michael Falzon’s resignation from Parliamentary Secretary following the publication of a National Audit report slamming him over the Gaffarena property deal dominates the front pages of national newspapers today.

Times of Malta says the Auditor General found “collusion” between the Land Department and Mark Gaffarena in the expropriation of a Valletta property, leading to Dr Falzon’s resignation from Parliamentary Secretary.

L-Orizzont says Dr Falzon resigned and his position will be taken up by Deborah Schembri.

The Malta Independent says the Gaffarena deal will be reversed as a result of the findings.

In-Nazzjon fills its front page with a photo of Prime Minister Joseph Muscat saying the report was another condemnation to his government.
