A young filmmaker, Esteban Ojeda, created an experimental video showing a set of snow flake and star patterns he put together from video and stills of San Francisco Airport

The video contains different images named by the author as "Snowflakes of Reality" as their shapes resemble moving multicoloured snowflakes.

Ojeda told Reuters his video was the outcome of being stuck at the airport for several hours.

He said the only thing he knew that would pass the time effectively was shooting time lapses around different gates in the terminal. Once he finished his first recording he decided to experiment with different angles, framing, and colours.

The images show ordinary scenes of an airport like planes on the runway, planes refuelling and corridors filled with passengers. There is even one of him napping.

Estaban Ojeda is as 23-year-old filmmaker based in San Francisco.
