The Malta Fancy Poultry and Pigeon Club will be holding its annual show at San Anton Gardens on Saturday and Sunday between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.

The show will consist of five categories, including bantam, large fowl, fancy pigeons, water fowl and gamebirds. The aim of the club is to assist members breed and keep these species to the highest standards.

This year, children will be able to take part with their pets including cage birds and hamsters among others and they can do so by registering them on Saturday between 8 a.m. and noon.

Children may also take part in a dog show by registering their dogs on Sunday between 8 and 9 a.m. All breeds of dogs, including mongrels, can be entered for this show, which is not competitive.
