American instructors were impressed by the experience shown by policemen during a course in advanced undercover operations conducted by the US Department of Homeland Security.

The American Embassy said trainers particularly commented on the "exceptional capabilities, responsibilities and professionalism" shown by members of the Criminal Investigations Department, Criminal Intelligence Analysis Unit, Drugs Squad, Vice Squad, Economic Crime Unit and Special Branch. The course was based on successful criminal and undercover investigations in the US and formed part of the Export Control and Border Security Programme, which aims to support the broad range of local police responsibilities through equipment, training and information exchange.
