The PL mass meeting in Hal Far.

The major political parties are this evening holding massive mass meetings in their final flourish before the electoral campaigns end.

The PN has called its supporters to the granaries in Floriana while Labour is holdings its meeting on the old runway at Hal Far.

Traffic started building on the roads from about 4.30 pm and both meetings are starting late, with hundreds of supporters having been held up in the traffic jams.

At one time, a traffic jam snaked all the way from Marsa to Hal Far while traffic to Floriana was slow before Msida. 

Former President, prime minister and PN leader Eddie Fenech Adami is due to briefly address the PN meeting.
