Referring to Dr Joseph Muscat's hastily called press conference this afternoon in which he accused the Prime MInister of calling the police to investigate a claim made of somebody having asked money during the consideration of the call for tenders only after he raised the case in Parliament.

In a statement, the PN accused Dr Muscat of having kept allegations on a tender process to himself, rather than passed them on to the police.

He also held a news conference just before going abroad to avoid interrogation.

The PN said that while last Thursday Dr Muscat hold a news conference during which he presented 15 points on what politicians should do, this week he threw away what he himself had proposed.
