The Opposition has moved a motion  in Parliament condemning the government for the way the bus service has been reformed.

The motion, by Dr Joe M Sammut, spokesman on transport, condemns the government for lack of planning, saying its failure has led to total confusion.

It insists that the government must publish all relevant contracts, including those related to consultancy work related to the reform.

It also calls for the resignation of Transport Minister Austin Gatt, the management of Transport Malta and all political appointees involved in the bus service reform.
