The Mid-Dlam ghad-Dawl Foundation this evening welcomed the white paper on parole but pointed out that this was not being offered to foreign prisoners.

Director-general Charles Cassar told a news conference held in front of the Justice Ministry that the organisation would soon be presenting its own parole proposals. He also spoke on the foundation's work last year pointing out that 2,000 euros were given to prisoners in financial aid and another 2,000 euros in kind through clothing and other items.
