Lucas  Papademos has been named as interim Prime Minister of Greece at the head of a national unity government. He will be sworn in tomorrow.

Papademos, a former economics professor at Harvard University, also served as a former deputy president of the European Central Bank and was head of the Greek Central Bank when Greece joined the eurozone.
