The Gozo Youth Orchestra presented an open-air concert of classic and pop music with the participation of soprano Pamela Agius (pictured), bass Noel Galea, Marisa Galea and Ludwig Galea at the Gozo Ministry courtyard last Monday.

The orchestra, under the direction of music director Joseph Grech, played a selection of operatic arias from Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro, Verdi’s Nabucco, Offenbach’s Les Contes D’Hoffmann, followed by an array of lighter pop arrangements from soundtracks and musicals including West Side Story, Phantom of the Opera, My Fair Lady and Les Miserables.
