This picture was taken in St Paul Street, Valletta, on Thursday. The irresponsible owner of this bike evidently did not see anything wrong in blocking the pavement and causing untold inconvenience to pedestrians. What mattered was that a parking place was found. How inconsiderate!

Bad parking practice

The driver of this tow truck is in the habit of parking in the drive of an unused garage in Ta’ Nawċiera Street, Qawra. He totally blocks the pavement, and pedestrians have to venture into the middle of the busy two-way road. The police have been informed but the bad practice continues.

Cleverly placed

The person who installed the signs (below) between two 360° cameras at the corner of South Street and Republic Street, Valletta, deserved the Twit of the Year Award. Does common sense no longer exist?

Shoddy appearance

Over the last few months, embellishment works have been going on at the national pool complex in Tal-Qroqq. However, the tiling next to the pool is still incomplete. Could it not be finished before the start of the waterpolo season?

Collapsed wall

About eight months ago, part of the rubble wall at the beginning of Triq iċ-Ċens in Mellieħa Bay, just a few metres up the Mellieħa bypass from the Sea Bank, collapsed. The stones are still obstructing the road. The Mellieħa local council has been informed but no action has been taken.
