Well done to everyone involved (organisers, paricipants, etc.) for a very enjoyable evening during Notte Bianca. And a special thanks for the waiving of entrance fees to museums, etc.
My wife and I were making our way through Strait Street and chanced upon the event taking place there – three young, extremely energetic couples executing different types of dances, with admirable aplomb and expertise. The audience was ecstatic about these dancing couples’ performance and shouts of “bravi” could be heard amid the applause.
However, being what it is, Strait Street (even in front of Vincenti Buildings, where the event took place) was too small a location to offer sufficient space for the dancers themselves, access to passers-by; and allow the public to fully appreciate these young artistes’ talents.
Next time – hoping these couples accept to offer us more of their talents – a better venue should be selected, or else the artistes should perform on a platform.
