Like Antoine Vella (April 3), I was not impressed by the recent Xarabank edition, nor by Peppi Azzopardi`s forays into the Middle East. The interests and credibility of independent journalism would have been far better served if his interviews with the Palestinians had been properly balanced by further interviews with the parents of the young people killed in the bombing of the Tel Aviv nightclub and with the survivors of the bombing of the crowded Jewish restaurant, to name but two incidents.

An appropriate finishing touch could also have been achieved by including intermittent footage of the camps where Arab children are trained to become mindless suicide terrorists and brainwashed into believing that they are `martyrs`.

The overall result then would neither have been so misleading nor as insulting to viewers` intelligence.
