Dmax has announced the appointment of Uwe Schoenfeld as IT strategy director and Shaun Caruana as business development executive.

Mr Schoenfeld joined Dmax in 2006 as a director and, subsequently, as a shareholder. The company said he brings with him a wealth of experience in international finance as well as IT consultancy and development involving ERP systems (such as BaaN and SAP).

Throughout his career, Mr Schoenfeld has served various blue-chip clients including Siemens, Gillette and Lufthansa. As director responsible for IT strategy, he will be in charge of expanding the company’s IT business in the German market and other EU states, and of directing company developers including the company’s outsourcing department.

Mr Caruana, whose expertise is marketing, recently joined Dmax after having worked with one of Malta’s leading communications agencies. In his capacity as business development executive, he will be responsible for client relations, coordination of marketing plans and business development for the Dmax line of IT products, including Dmaxepaper.com.

Dmax, founded by Ray de Bono in 2006, is one of Malta’s branding and IT solutions firms offering bespoke IT solutions, advanced web development and corporate branding.

Dmax manages diverse international projects including the branding of the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation based in London, as well as the entire IT strategy and development for reverse-logistics service provider, Vfw GmbH, one of the largest companies in its field based in Germany.
