Muscats Motors Ltd yesterday launched the Citroën 17-seater minibus that comes in three different versions - long wheelbase, medium wheelbase and short wheelbase. Customers can even opt for a minibus with a standard roof or a high roof.

Equipped with top sliding windows to the offside and the nearside rear panel, the minibus has fixed glass fitted to the sliding door and the opposite panel, as well as on the two "portholes" behind the cab in the long wheelbase model.

The minibus is also equipped with lighting and air-conditioning, passenger grab handles, a first-aid kit and a fire extinguisher.

The Citroën minibus comes in wheelchair-accessible versions, with removable seats mounted on quick release aluminium tracks. Other accessibility features include a manually operated slide out step below the slide door.

A two-piece folding ramp at the rear for loading wheelchair passengers and a lamp to illuminate the ramp at night are also available. Certain models and seating layouts permit a hydraulic tail-lift to be fitted instead of the manual-folding ramp.
