Meridian Enterprises yesterday launched the new Hyundai Atos Prime, a mini-car which the agents say does not sacrifice comfort, legroom and luggage space.

"Although compact, this new model does not compromise with interior comfort, making it an unmatched package of versatility and convenience, the perfect car for the hustle and bustle of our busy roads," Meridien Enterprises sales and marketing manager Ryan Buttigieg said.

He said the new look and feel interiors have been designed to please the senses and cradle occupants in comfort. "New four-spoke wheel with thicker grip, sporty instrument cluster, complete pillar trim, rich fabric upholstery and a host of other thoughtful additions not only add a touch of luxury but also give that superior driving feel.

"The new Atos Prime is a compact car packed with a lot of smart ideas."

The car is capable of "amazing performance", deriving from its 1.1-litre, 12-valve engine and power-to-weight ratio.

With a starting price of only Lm3,850, it comes equipped with driver's airbag, central locking, ABS, colour coded bumpers, 50/50 rear split seats, tinted glass and rear wiper all as standard.

The new Atos Prime open week is from Monday to January 28 between 8.30 a.m. and 8 p.m. on weekdays and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
