One of Simonds Farsons Cisk plc's most experienced female business managers is to take over the post of general manager of Food Chain Holdings Limited, a subsidiary company which employs over 100.

Ms Stefania Conte will be responsible for the overall operations of the four fast food franchises Burger King, Pizza Hut, Kentucky Fried Chicken, and TGI Friday's.

She regards her top priorities in the new post as sharpening productivity at Food Chain Holdings through operational initiatives, and delivering high levels of standards essential in a competitive market.

Ms Conte joined Food Chain Holdings on its inception in 1993, and she has held a number of senior roles in the company's operations.

Prior to this new appointment, she was promoted to business manager, in 2002, where she was responsible for all the support functions including the Central Preparation Unit. Holder of a Diploma in Business Management from the University of Malta, she is studying to obtain an MBA.
