Nature Trust Malta will resume its natural history short course in October.

The course is open to everyone and no prior background in biology is necessary.

The course content aims to inculcate participants with a thorough background of the tenets of Maltese natural heritage.

The course co-ordinator for the natural history short course is Alan Deidun.

He will deliver lectures on the climatic and ecological conditions of the Mediterranean region, on the coastal environment and about human pressures on the local environment.

Edwin Lanfranco will be delivering a lecture on the adaptations of local plants and on local natural habitats, while Arnold Sciberras will be elaborating on the local faunal diversity, especially with respect to reptiles and insects.

Prior reservation and payment for the October short course is mandatory and the deadline is September 30.

For further information on course fees and participation, contact Alan Deidun at Nature Trust Malta or visit info@naturetrustmalta.org
