The House of Representatives yesterday unanimously approved the National Audit Office estimates for 2010.

Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi said that the estimates had been unanimously approved by the National Audit Office Accounts Committee following a presentation by Auditor General Anthony Mifsud, and recommended that these be approved by the House.

The Prime Minister also moved the first reading of the Ombudsman (Amendment) Bill.
