The Malta Union of Teachers had declared an industrial dispute at Mcast after talks on a revision of the collective agreement ground to a halt. The talks started in June last year. The union said that neither it nor the Mcast management were at fault for the current situation. The union is to hold a meeting for its members in the coming days and may order industrial action.
