Prime Minister Joseph Muscat has had talks in Ankara with Turkish President Recip Erdogan.

They discussed development of bilateral relations and strategic partnerships as well as regional issues, particularly the migration crisis.

A Turkish company has a significant shareholding in Malta Freeport and it was announced last week that another Turkish company is due to acquire a third of the shareholding of Valletta Cruise Port.
