The postponed Premier League match between Msida St Joseph and Sliema Wanderers has been rescheduled for this evening, the Malta FA announced yesterday.

The fixture was due to have been played on Sunday afternoon but rain showers forced the game to be called off as the pitch of the Hibs Ground was deemed unfit to host two matches in a row.

Sunday's opening match, in which Tarxien Rainbows beat Dingli Swallows 2-1, was not affected by the weather.

Msida and Sliema will now play their second-round match this evening at the Centenary Stadium, starting at 7.30.

The two Youth League matches scheduled for this evening at the Centenary Stadium - Valletta vs San Ġwann and Mosta vs Sliema Wanderers - have been postponed to a later date.
