The Bay Street Complex has lined-up an afternoon of family entertainment and games with a number of prizes for Mother's Day on Sunday.
The events start at 3.30 p.m. with the introduction of the Baby Bunny competition winners: Anthea Borg of Mellieħa, Faith Mallia of Żebbuġ and Abiel Cassar of Tarxien. This will be followed by a performance by the Malta Academy for Performing Arts and singers Keith and Adonel.
At 5 p.m., Lydia Caruana will be gracing the complex with her presence where she will participate in a palm-print ceremony in Celebrity Street.
Other activities will follow including a spot-the-celebrity mum who will be Ruth Casingena, the well known Soprano. The details of the contest are available on www.baystreet.com.mt.
Mother's Day at Bay Street will close in style with the Pro-Touch Dancers, the popular singer J. Anvil and Morena, Malta's vivacious representative at this year's Song for Europe contest.
All proceeds raised during this event will be in aid of the families who fell victim to the Naxxar fireworks tragedy. The funds on the day will be collected by the special rescue group from St Lazarus Corps and girl guides.
On Saturday, the Bay Street management will be honouring the producers of the popular TV series Giselle with a palm print ceremony at Celebrity Street.
