Air Malta has added Leipzig Halle as its sixth destination to Germany, flying there twice a week.
The airline expects that in the first six months this new route will bring to Malta over 11,000 new tourists, following the positive results it has achieved on all its other German routes throughout this winter.
The Wednesday flight departs from Malta International Airport at 4.10 p.m., arriving at 6.55 p.m. while the Sunday flight leaves at 7 a.m., arriving in Leipzig at 9.45 a.m. The return flight on Wednesdays leaves from Leipzig at 7.40 p.m. arriving at 10.25 p.m. while the Sunday flight departs at 10.35 a.m. arriving in Malta at 1.20 p.m.
Leipzig is located in heart of the Saxony Region and is a destination for trade fairs, conferences and exhibitions. It is also a centre of culture, nightlife and shopping, boasting remarkable renaissance and baroque buildings.
