The HSBC 4-Stroke League at Badger Karting continued on Sunday at the racetrack in Ta' Qali with two races from the Novice and Advanced level.

Jacob Borg had an excellent drive in the Advanced group as he grabbed pole and went on to win both races. In the first race, he led from start to finish ahead of Zack Zammit and Luke Vella Clark.

Borg was made to fight harder in the other event as Adam Bugeja led the way for most of the race until a mechanical failure forced him out. Borg and Vella Clark were left to fight it out for first place, the former claiming the honours. Zammit was third.

Standings: J. Borg 94; A. Bugeja 84; Z. Zammit 79; L. Vella Clark 71; K. Cilia 43.

Ryan Scerri claimed pole ahead of Luke Micallef in the Novice class. He looked like cruising to his second win but a broken sprocket foiled his day.

Micallef seized his chance and went on to win the race, just ahead of Silvan Briffa and Jean Claude Uhlenhaut.

Standings: R. Scerri 51; L. Micallef 46; J.C. Uhlenhaut 37; S. Briffa 36; A. Bugeja 29; N. Vassallo 29; S. Muscat 24; A. Curmi 21; D. Muscat 14; K. Abela 12.

Fastest lap: J. Borg - 29:86.
