Mixables, the Young Enterprise European Company of the Year, was personally congratulated on its achievement by HSBC Malta's Chief Executive Officer, Chris Hothersall and HSBC Malta's Chief Operating Officer Jeremy Hunt, at a special reception held for the winning team at HSBC's head office in Valletta.

Mr Hunt said that HSBC is very proud of the success achieved by Mixables which throughout the past nine months truly embodied the spirit and potential of Young Enterprise in Malta.

As Young Enterprise Malta's main sponsor, HSBC congratulated everyone involved in this success while looking forward to an equally exciting and rewarding competition next year.

Mixables became the HSBC 14th Young Enterprise Malta Company of the Year in July and following this success went to Paris to compete against 20 other European teams. The Mixables victory is the fourth win for a Maltese team in this prestigious event.

Young Enterprise Malta chairman Michael Cutugno, said that the 25 students from the Junior College who formed Mixables have made Malta proud by once again bringing home the European title.

Above all, this success reflects the quality of their products, multi-purpose cutting boards and calendars, and their enthusiastic dedication to Young Enterprise. Next year Young Enterprise will be celebrating 15 years of the HSBC Young Enterprise Malta Company of the Year competition. Furthermore in 2003, the new European competition, will be extended to include up to 35 teams.
