A total 42 packs of milk were this morning confiscated by the Health Inspectorate within the Department for Environmental Health.

The department said the milk - 24 packs whole and 18 packs skimmed, had been left on the doorstep of a retailer in San Gwann.

By the time the shop opened the milk’s temperature was 14 degrees celcius.

Legal action is being initiated against the offenders.
