Producer prices in June decreased by 0.2 percent, when compared to May.

The National Statistics Office said that prices in the domestic market remained unchanged, except for the Intermediate goods sector which increased by 0.8 percent.

Overall prices in the eurozone market declined by 0.3 percent, while those for non-eurozone declined by 0.2 percent.

In the eurozone market, the capital goods sector increased by 0.3 percent but decreased by the same percentage in the non-eurozone market.

The consumer durable sector remained stable in both export markets. The consumer non-durable market increased by 0.1 percent in the eurozone market, but decreased by 1.4 percent in the non eurozone market.

The intermediate goods sector decreased by 0.3 percent in the eurozone but increased by 0.5 percent in the non-eurozone market.

When comparing June with the same month last year, producer prices for the domestic market registered increases for all main industrial groupings, except for the capital goods and intermediate goods sectors.

In the eurozone export market, decreases were registered for the intermediate goods and for the capital goods sectors, whilean increase was registered in the consumer non-durables sector.

The consumer durables sector remained stable.

In the non-eurozone export market, increases were registered for all main industrial groupings, except for the consumer durables and intermediate goods sectors, which remained stable.
