The FIBA Europe U-18 Division C (women) championship will be played in Malta between July 14 and 18.

This will be the second consecutive time that the Malta Basketball Association (MBA) will be hosting this tournament. The last edition was in 2007 when Malta won an unprecedented gold medal.

The tournament, involving Malta, Luxembourg, Moldova, Gibraltar and Monaco, will be played on a round robin format.

The first match, Moldova-Monaco, will be played on July 14 at 4.30 p.m. An opening ceremony follows before the locals play Luxembourg at 6.45 p.m.

National coach Sandro Farrugia and his assistant Emilio Trivelli have the following players in the squad: Lisa Pace, Elena Cassar, Kirsty Tonna, Louisa Serge, Becky Naudi, Steffi De Martino, Kelly Busuttil, Kristina Martinelli, Emma Micallef, Justine Busuttil Gaerthy, Justine Xuereb and Andrea Mifsud.
