A 35-year-old man from Mosta has been remanded in custody after he pleaded not guilty to possession of ecstasy and cocaine not for his exclusive use and possession of cannabis grass.

Geoffrey Turner was arrested on yesterday evening after he was pulled over by the mobile police squad.

Prosecuting Inspector Pierre Grech said Mr Turner, who had a pending arrest warrant, had 391 ecstasy pills and around six grams of cocaine in his car. The police later found cannabis at his apartment.
