A 52-year-old man from Xagħjra is fighting for his life after falling a height of two storeys in his car, which landed on its roof. The man lost control of his Renault Megane after swerving to avoid a passer-by in Corradino yesterday morning at around 10.45. His Renault hit a parked car, crashed through a construction gate and fell two storeys into a disused quarry, which is now used as a government quarantine centre for animals.
