A 31-year-old man of Żabbar is in a critical condition after he was found injured in a car which crashed into a wall early yesterday morning, the police said.

After being tipped, the police went to Triq iċ-Ċawsli where they found the car, a Volkswagen Golf crashed into a wall forming part of a private residence.

The man was conveyed to Mater Dei Hospital.

Duty magistrate Michael Mallia has appointed experts to assist in an inquiry.
