Lombard Bank Malta said in a routine company statement said today that the directors were satisfied with the performance of the bank and its subsidiaries and noted that the Group remained on the path of profitable growth as projected.
The Group had reported a pre-tax profit of €7.76 million for the six months ended June 30, 2008 representing an increase of 60% over the same period in 2007.Those results included, for the first time, the full effect of the financial performance of Maltapost, which is a Lombard subsidiary.
