David Beckham's lawyers are arriving in Italy to talk to AC Milan about his prospective loan move but club chief executive Adriano Galliani has said the deal is not yet certain.
The Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder, 33, wants to join Milan for three months from January in order to keep up his fitness during the United States close season and stay in contention for an England squad place.
"At first it seemed they would come next week; instead Beckham's lawyers will be in Milan today," Galliani told reporters.
"We will start talks. I don't know if they will end positively but I hope and believe they will. We have to work out everything."
