Bay Radio has attained the highest percentage of radio listeners (20.77 per cent) – a position it has held since the October-December 2008 period.
One, at 18.87 per cent, attained the second highest listenership, followed by Radju Malta at 11.43 per cent.
All three stations increased their percentage of listeners over that of the same period the previous year. However, Bay Radio and One decreased their percentage over the previous summer quarter of July-September.
The overall average hours consumers spent listening to radio during this period was 1.27.
Television viewers increased by 12.54 per cent over the summer period.
At 33.63 per cent, TVM maintained its prime position throughout, increasing the percentage number of viewers over previous summer quarter by 7.20 per cent. However, the percentage of TVM viewers for this quarter was 5.4 per cent less than that registered for the same quarter in 2011.
One and Net maintained their second and third positions, respectively, with both increasing the percentage number of viewers over the same period last year.
However, while One registered an increase of 1.59 per cent, Net TV registered an increase of 4.28 per cent.
