Why did the air show organisers urge us through the media to make use of public transport when for the very first time this year there were no buses running between Valletta and Ħal-Farruġ? Why wasn't the public informed beforehand about this?

I was with a group of 15-year-olds who decided to meet at Valletta in the early afternoon of Sunday so as to make use of the annual bus service provided by ADT to the air show venue. Surprisingly for us and for many other commuters present at that time, the ADT officer on duty told us that the only service available was through the use of a (private) minivan service at the "special" price of €5 per person return. As an alternative we were given the option to catch the Luqa bus and walk to Ħal-Farruġ. No wonder both this officer and minivan driver appeared uncomfortable when they saw the blank looks on our faces!

Knowing the workings of ADT I do not expect an apology from their side but I demand one from the air show organisers for having literally been taken for a ride.
