Fernando Alonso secured a McLaren 1-2 in Monza on Sunday with the McLaren drivers and the team extending their lead over Ferrari in the drivers and constructors' championships. Rookie Heikki Kovalainen extended his points haul over team-mate Giancarlo Fisichella at Renault and Jenson Button won Honda's second point of the season.
