Widow Twanky (Malcolm Galea) and Dame Fanny (Jean Pierre Busuttil) donned their best feathers and flamboyant gowns for an important interview with Veronica Stivala.

Topical issues such as global warming, the economic crisis and the contents of some of Widow Twanky’s politician clients' clothes at her launderette were discussed.

Widow Twanky is the doting mother of Aladdin and Wishy Washy whereas Dame Fanny is the cook on Captain Hook’s ship on which Peter Pan, Wendy and the lost boys have the misfortune to end up.

Masquerade’s Aladdin is on at the Manoel Theatre, from Friday to December 23, between December 26 and 30, and from January 2 to 6. Booking from Manoel Theatre or www.masquerademalta.com.

MADC’S Peter Panto will be at the MFCC, Ta’ Qali, between Friday and January 3. There will be no performances on December 24, 25 and 31 and on January 1. Tickets start at €10 and can be booked at www.madc.biz.
