Barcelona: Barcelona will disclose the details of their collaborative agreement with the UNICEF at a ceremony at the United Nations headquarters in New York today. Barca announced last May that they had agreed to donate 0.7 per cent of annual income starting from the 2006/07 season to the United Nations as a contribution to the organisation's Millennium Development Goals campaign.

Trabzonspor: Turkish side Trabzonspor have been ordered to play their UEFA Cup first round, first leg match at home to Osasuna on September 14 behind closed doors. Osasuna said yesterday that UEFA had informed them their opponents had been handed the stadium ban following incidents during their 1-0 win over Cypriot side APOEL FC in the return leg of their second qualifying round match on August 24.: The Spanish Football Federation is hoping Gibraltar's renewed attempts to join UEFA will be blocked with the support of the Spanish government. Yesterday the Court for the Arbitration of Sport recommended that the Gibraltar FA should be admitted on a provisional basis at the organisation's next executive meeting on October 4 and 5. Spain has opposed Gibraltar's attempts to join UEFA and in the past has said they will not take part in any international competition in which the British colony participates.

TV Replays: Arsenal forward Thierry Henry has backed the use of television replays to help referees make decisions. "The Champions League final was settled by an offside goal," claimed the French international, referring to Samuel Etoo's equaliser for Barcelona last May. "Once again, with the video images we could have seen that straight away. How long would it need... 30 seconds? That's four times less than the time it takes for the team to celebrate after a goal."
