De Jong: Injured Netherlands midfielder Nigel de Jong has pulled out of the squad for the Euro 2008 Group G qualifier at home to Slovenia today. De Jong hurt his groin during training yesterday.

Bojinov: Man. City's Bulgarian striker Valeri Bojinov may return sooner than expected from a cruciate knee ligament injury sustained in August. "You never know with such a big operation but if everything goes as we hope he might be back in training in November or early December," manager Sven-Goran Eriksson said.
