Mark Miller will watch Hibernians’ next four Premier League matches from the stands after the coach of the Malta champions was handed a four-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner yesterday.

Miller was heavily sanctioned after he was dismissed by referee Adrian Azzopardi for persistent protests in the early stages of Friday’s 1-0 win over Valletta.

The Hibs coach remonstrated with anger following a decision taken by the referee who consulted fourth official Kevin Azzopardi before ordering Miller to leave his team’s bench.

Miller will now miss the matches against Msida (November 4), Floriana (November 21), Tarxien Rainbows (November 28) and Sliema Wanderers (December 12).

The Hibs coach was not the only member of the Paolites clan to be sanctioned yesterday as Rumen Galabov was also suspended for one match.

The Bulgarian midfielder will sit out his team’s match against Msida next Wednesday.
