Hibernians moved back to the top of the Premier League this evening with a 4-0 win over Birkirkara which leaves them needing just a draw against second placed Valletta on Sunday to be declared champions. Valletta will take the honour if they win.

The Paolites dominated this evening's encounter at Ta'Qali and went ahead after a quarter of an hour thanks to Rumen Galabov.

Cohen made it two from the penalty spot on the 50th minute and Pulis scored the third on the 53rd minute.

Caruana scored the fourth in extra time.
