Employees from the HSBC Call Centre in Swatar recently raised €1,800 in aid of Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary, Dar Merħba Bik and Dar Sagra Familja.

Volunteers, coordinated by the centre's 'Best Place To Work' team, the charity committee and other devoted helpers, also dedicated time to help less fortunate individuals and animals.

On presenting the donations to the three organisations, centre director Richard Brown commended his staff on the noble initiative.

"As a group, HSBC is supportive of those elements in society facing challenging situations. The three organisations benefiting from the centre's donation and voluntary work deserve all our support for the useful help they give to the people, and animals, they give shelter to," he said.
